EOTech EXPS3-2 Holo Weapon Sight, NV Compatible, 65 MOA ring and (2) 1 MOA dots Reticle (EXPS3-2)
Could not believe how easy it is to zero it (1 bullet at 50 yards) and how it is accurate. I use it with the G33 magnifier. Awesome duo that provide you flexibility to switch from very close range to 4 football fields deadly accuracy within a second and as simple than flip the scope aside with your thumb without never ever loosing sight of the target.

The device optic is well protected with a thick frame that protect adequately against abuse and field mayhem. Quick release allow to move it easily and quickly, without any tool to an other rifle.

Pricy? maybe but if you can afford it I think it worth the $ compared to cheap and inaccurate red dot that won't provide flexibility of the wide brightness settings allowing to use the device within all lightings condition (even with Night Vision device), the robust construction and the proven field testing of so many SWAT team, special forces and regular units. This is not a unit made for airsoft but for real weapon... mounting is solid and after about 1000 rounds of 5.56, zero hasn't required any adjustment and is as accurate than after my initial setting. Honestly, I can't find any downside to this product other than its price (you get for what you pay I guess)

HHS Features the EXPS3-2 with a G33.STS magnifier for engaing threats in close quarter combat situations and quickly transforming to a 500 m surveillance or targeting situation. Instant transition is achieved through a quick switch to side (STS) mount that offers a simple quick disengatement of the magnifier. This durable system offers a wide field optical performance with superior light transmission for visibility in extreme low light conditions. After extensive testing of various optical sights, US Special Operations Command (SSOCOM) has standardized on the HWS as its weapon optic for close quarter battle. I am an avid shooter and I own numerous red-dot-sights for both rifles and pistols. For various reasons I decided to purchase the EOTech XPS3-0. Most EOTech sights, this one included, feature a circle-dot reticle: a 65 MOA circle with a 1 MOA dot in the center. I had initially been skeptical of the reticle type that the EOTech uses. I worried that it would be more distracting than the simple "red dot" reticle that most sights of this type use. After considerable use, I am now a believer in the EOTech reticle. Many in the military prefer the EOTech reticle because it makes fast target acquisition easier -- the shooter does not have to "hunt around" to find the reticle when trying to acquire and shoot the target. Further, the EOTech sight is very high-quality, and I have found that the reticle does not obscure the target or in any way interfere with precision shooting. The one MOA center dot is ideal for precision shooting while the 65 MOA circle aids in fast target acquisition. As with all red-dot-sights, the trick is to focus one's eye on the target, not the reticle. Through the magic of holographics, the reticle will then be in focus anyway, along with the target, making for an ideal sight picture. (A common error that shooters make with red-dot-sights is to focus their shooting eye on the reticle rather than the target.) The EOTech XPS2-0/3-0 is the only sight I have ever used in which it seemed natural to keep both eyes open while shooting. I am a shooter who otherwise has shot rifles and pisols with my left eye closed for the past 40 years.

There are other model variants of the XPS2/3 that have other reticle patterns. The pattern is not selectable on this model, however. It provides only the circle-dot reticle described in this review.Read more
